June 13, 2010
As Castiel in Supernatural, Misha Collins helps Sam and Dean Winchester to save the world from the devil being released to bring on the biblical apocalypse.
And now, in the Syfy original movie Stonehenge Apocalypse, Misha has managed to save the world ... again. This time, it's another kind of apocalypse. Never knew there was was more than one.
The movie -- which is about what ancient sites like Stonehenge, Machu Pichu, and the pyramids at Giza are really doing here on earth -- premiered last night on the Syfy channel.
If you missed it, here's a recap and review from Entertainment.Gather.com.
My review? It's a watchable made-for-TV sci-fi B-movie -- made much more watchable by the great cast, including our own Misha Collins. The best part? His character was able to incorporate some of Misha's signature wit and snark!

Let’s face it. We all love to get our Supernatural fix anyway we can. We watch reruns, buy the books, read the fanfiction, and beg, borrow and trade for the comics. Let’s not forget the RP’ers and convention goers, and everything else we do just to see our boys in action.
Well, according to AnimeNewsNetwork, the Japanese website of the Warner Brothers production company opened a section on Thursday revealing the Supernatural animation project. It is considered to be a "special project" that will tie in to the live-action TV series.
Madhouse is the acclaimed anime' studio (Death Note, Paprika, Vampire Hunter D, Summer Wars) that is set to be in charge of production.
The anime’ is set to produce twenty two episodes that cover the first and second seasons of our live-action boys. It seems we will soon have a new way to get our Supernatural fix. What do you think? Will the Supernatural Anime be worth watching?
