Character Backstory/ if a hunter, how did [he/she] get into the job?

Memory, or Mem, had always been interested in all things supernatural. She had read books about them and everything. One day she found out that her cousin, Bobby, was a hunter. He told her everything, stories, theories, etc. She couldnt believe it. Bobby then asked her if she wanted to hunt because she was old enough to hunt, 14, and seemed really interested. Bobby told her that he would tell her when an easy job would come, in the mean time, she is reading his hunting journal to learn more about them and enrolled in Karate classes. One day her and Bobby were on a case. There was a house that had a ghost in it. A priest was the owner but whatever he did to get rid of it didnt work. So, Bobby and Memory went to interview the priest. Bobby used a fake name but Mem used her real one. When she told the priest her name, he said that he knew who she was. She told her that her Grandmother was a hunter and a good one. But, she was also a physic. She would visit the priest from time to time to talk about her abilities. She told the priest that she had a vision. The vision told her that Memory, her grand daughter, was going to be a hunter and would die. She did not want that to happen so she made a deal with a crossroad demon. She said that she wanted her grand daughter to have demon powers. She told the preist this and she said that she knew she did the right thing. Memory didnt know what to do. She knows that she has powers but only uses them when she's in real danger. She does practice them from time to time but still doesnt know how to deal with it. Favorite Weapons
