I just watched Season 1 of Supernatural and they had one bullet for the Colt left, but I've seen seasons 3-5 and know that they use for bullets... can someone explain how they got more bullets??

Ruby and Bobby worked together behind the scenes and got the colt working again. They don't go into the mechanics of the gun nor do they touch on how they got it to work. Some say that they made more bullets and some say that they just made it so the gun could use regular bullets. It's all speculation really." Yeah Ruby basically worked her weirdo demon powers or intelligence to reconstruct the gun.
