Castiel and Crowley
Hi, Gang :)
Hellatus is officially upon us, so Happy Hellatus, Everybody :)
Based on some recent social media posts from Mark Sheppard, it looks like our beloved Crowley is truly dead. And based on some (possibly accidental) convention comments from Jared, it looks like Castiel is probably going to come back. How do you feel about that?
I expected Castiel to die in the finale, so I wasn't as shocked by his death as I might have been otherwise. But I am VERY glad he'll be back in some form or other. I'm a bit worried about what shape he'll be in (what powers he'll have, etc.) but I'm not as upset as I'd be if I thought he'd be gone for good.
Crowley is a different story for me, and his (apparently permanent) death is a bigger shocker for me, because I honestly thought he'd find some tricky way to come back. I love Mark and love what he's done with this character all these seasons. He was one of my favorites, and I will miss him terribly. What about you?
Some fans think Crowley lost his "edge" a while ago and wasn't being written well enough to stay around. I disagree for a list of reasons, but thought this might be a good time to kick this football around.
How do you feel? Good riddance? Need a hug? Need to rant? Need more time to process? Don't care?

What are your favorite Castiel moments?
Hi, Guys :)
We’ve been talking recently about how Castiel doesn’t seem to be the character he used to be, so I started thinking about my favorite Castiel moments in the show so far. He’s been crazy-Cas, god-Cas, eye-gazing Cas, warrior Cas, commander-Cas, guardian angel-Cas and I’m sure several other personas since we first met him in ”Lazarus Rising”. What are your favorite Castiel moments? Which scenes or moments are most "true" to your idea of who Castiel is or should be?

Well. I literally just signed up for this fan-base type thing. Every now and then I would look up something about Supernatural and it would bring me here, and today I figured I would go ahead and become part of the community. I'm a Junior in High School, and I've been watching Supernatural for almost a year now. Maybe less. My first episode was 'Out With the Old' (the one about the possessed Ballet Shoes.) I really got into it during the summer this year though. I would watch it every morning around 7, but I cant anymore because I'm usually at school by that time, but I still try to get an episode or two in before I freak out. I think my favorite character would have to be Castiel, because even when he tries to be serious, he somehow makes it funny. He's so innocent, and naïve and as time goes on you see him become accustomed to living like a human, and you see him catch on to Dean and Sam's mannerisms. I sort of ship Destiel, but not in a sexual "Oh my god, they are so hot together, lets find Destiel porn!" way. More like a brotherly way. They seem very fit for each other. Even more so than Dean and Sam are. Castiel practically worships the ground Dean walks on, and Dean cares so much about Castiel. They care about what the other thinks of them, and they are brutally honest to each other, even when its hard to be so blunt. They risk their lives for each other, and I love that. They have a "more profound bond" anyways, so I guess it works. I'm done happy-ranting about Cas and Dean. Just wanted to pop by, and say hello :)
