"i really love when sam is being beaten by gordon in "hunted" and dean unties sam, picks him up, looks at his face and is like "i'm gonna kill him!". i just think it is so touching and it really provides insight into their brohter relationship and how much dean really cares about sam and how he wants to protect him.
