You can get holy water by simply getting a jar(or any container) of water, and having a preist bless it. As for the rock salt, i am not quite sure, Ebay?

I'll try being a hunter too. I'm really into stuff like that. I really believe in it, not the Winchesters and that but the stuff they hunt. I'm already keeping a hunting journal.

Rock salt is a condiment. Look in a grocery store or supermarket. Especially one that sells in bulk.

Also, any salt will do. Rock salt just works better in shell casings, which is why they use it. Any salt will work just as well on spirits or to form circles or whatever. :)

Ok start off by putting alot of salt and a very little amount of water in a pan or pot. Let it melt. Then poor it in a shell casing. You need to use a shootgun a hand gun will be alittle trickier. Clean your guns very frequintly or they will brake and wear down. Any other questions just ask me.

Rock salt. aka Road salt is the same thing that the police use for the roads during cold weather.

Good luck guys. Personally, the full-time hunter's life probably isn't for me (I've seen Sam and Dean go through too much), but enjoy anyway!

@SPN11 I agree that the hunting life isn't glamorous or glorious and is a hell of a lot of work and not something made for people that are weak of will. Their lives are tragedies without much of a payoff. Sure you can save a person here and there, but otherwise you have to look at all the people that died along the way. Soon you'll question "What if I did that a little sooner, or did it differently?" Also, I think it would be pretty hard and short lived to become a hunter without having someone teach you the ropes. There is general stuff like combat training, then there's the experience of "This is what works and this doesn't." All that said, if out of the blue I met a hunter or something supernatural I would probably devote my life to it. It may be a tragic and hard life and I may not have someone to ride with, but I think it would definitely fulfill me more than a run of the mill career. Maybe it's just the martyr in me, but hunters are true heroes. Saving people whether they know it or not, and not expecting anything in return. 7 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

I think it could be rewarding but also very complicated. if your dedicated to learn the stuff such as combat then you can be a rookie but how would you get by? Credit card scams arent that easy anymore and even motels arent that cheap anymore. So try to have a career set that keeps you traveling like being a traveling journalist. Also without a harsh devoted reason most hunters dont last too long.

yea, i really really want to be a hunter too. I know a lot of stuff about mosters, ghosts, etc. But I've never really seen any of that stuff besides ghosts (i watch ghost hunters and my house seemed to be a little haunted), so if any of you guys have seen anything, plz tell me!

really? awsome! i want to be a hunter! i aunderstand that it is super dangerous. and im young aswell. im still in school. but i really want to be one. and i want to know: is it as dangerous as in 'supernatural'? do all those creatures exist? because as far as i know it is a tv show. but i think that if i start hunting from this age, ill be rlly good when older :) please reply. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. I've been a hunter since I was fourteen since my mother is a wiccan shes always been into the supernatural. Right now I still live with my parents in Ohio doing many jobs across ohio since im only seventeen. So if you in Ohio get a hold of me it would be nice to know more hunters.
