I've never been to an SPN convention, so maybe this will be a glimpse, lol! But from the sneak peeks it looks like there are way too many guys there -- all the YouTube videos and pics I've seen from real SPN conventions look (and sound, by all the squeee's) like there is a preponderance of girls present. Am I right? lol!

Well, that was TOO FUNNY!!! And it had some wonderful little tidbits about Dean being reminded that the Winchesters are actually not so cursed in many ways, and Becky the super-fan providing a clue about the Colt ... and Chuck finding love! awe! lol!

"notice all the Impalas? that was hilarious!"right when i saw all of them, i said "they finally found a use for all 5 impalas" lol eh... i really didnt like that episode actually.. sure it had some awesome parts, but the whole wincest thing gets to me really bad.... then becky and then the two fake winchesters..... i loved that Chuck acted awesomely with the iron pole and telling everyone to stay in the room like he said, and the last line between sam and chuck: Sam "and Chuck, if you really want to publish more Supernatural books, i guess its fine with us" Chuck "really?" Sam "no, we have guns, we'll find you" but i really got to say... way far down on my list of epis and its kinda depressing. it was funny the first time kripke brought up wincest cause he kinda bashed it (much needed, sorry), but this is like, the 5th time and its getting annoying.. and gross... but next week looks REALLY awesome!! so im excited!! ADD: oh ya, and Zu, that is definately NOT how conventions are! lol much more women, probably the majority anyways, but there was a good number of guys at the LA one. lol oh an no one really dresses up or pretends to be the characters either, thankfully... well, unless you count the costume party but thats 1 day out of three, so it wasnt too bad... plus the woman who dressed up as T. Bear was just amazing Do you find this valuable? |

I have never been to a Supernatural convention but I wanted to attend the one that came through Dallas. And my Mother and I laughed our butts off when Sam told Chuck that they have guns and will find him if he publishes more books. And Becky reminds me of the modern day fangirl and I know the perfect fanbase she would fit perfectly in...Twilight.

Now that a couple of hours have passed, the thing that sticks with me most is the idea that the fake Sam and Dean really pointed out how the real Sam and Dean's life if not so horrible -- call me sentimental, but I teared up a little! lol! (the rest of the epi was pretty funny!)

I really, really liked this episode, I downright loved it! I'm warming up to Chuck, I'm starting to like him all the more. Oh and Becky was great, too. The whole episode was written in a very fun way, it had some amazing moments. Dean really stood out in this episode, he delivered some great lines. Oh and Sam too. I liked it, it was lighter and fun. After seeing the promo for next episode, I'm all hyped, I can't wait to see what will happen next week.

One more thing: did you guys notice how at the convention there was that scarecrow guy that was obviously a foreginer, somewhere from Europe? I couldn't make out his acent. Anyway, I took it as an allusion to the fact that there are so many fans from all over the world that love supernatural.

"According to the closed caption that my mom had on (lol) the guy was from Germany. lol <33 I loled a lot with this episode, not because it was one of my favorites, but because of how they portrayed super nerdy fans. It just reminds me of myself (and others) whenever going to Comic Con or any other convention. With Zu, I teared up also. : ) I like that Dean was reminded that he and Sam weren't just brothers, they were partners (and not in the gay sense like the Barnes and Demian lol <33). There were a lot of good moments in the episode. : ) Also! I'm super intrigued by next week's episode. O: I kinda squeaked when I saw Dean kiss Jo. Mom gave me a funny look. haha xD Do you find this valuable? |

The episode was great..... as always. Very funny. It was nice how Sam acted hurt when Becky broke it off with him. Also, I lol when Sam said "No we have guns and we'll find you." And we get to meet Lillith's right hand man..... I always thought that was Alistair.

Put them on the trail of Crowley, cause I didn't know who they would get that one going. and they killed some ghosts, something we haven't seen in a bit. 5 impalas!! I just want one, please? What!!! Where did that come from... Dean/Jo kissing??? I think he is headed for disappointment cause I'm pretty sure its Ellen and Jo are the ones who are killed off. I like Jo but not as a love interest for Dean, it just feels awkward between them. I can't buy into the chemistry cause there isn't any. Do you find this valuable? |

Morning all,I enjoyed it ok. When they burned the bones of Miss Gore, I thought Hmmm, a light show (even though I knew the episode wasn't over) So I was glad to see a few things relating to the Apocolypse. I have never been to a Convention, so didn't know what to expect. I was concerned that Becky was going to be annoying, but she wasn't. Do fans really behave like that when they meet someone they admire? Chuck made an interesting comment too about himself that I hadn't considered. Apart from the books, what does he have? So now a clue to the Colt. Yay, let's hope that leads somewhere. Do you find this valuable? |

Awesome! I have never been to a SPN convention either, but it was so hilarious anyways! I loved the end scene with Becky telling Sam she was with Chuck now, I didn't expect Sam just to play along, but that made it all the more funny.I also loved the part at the end with the 'fake' Sam and Dean talking to the real Dean that was priceless! And the clue too the colt's were-abouts is a nice shred of hope for us, gets the boys farther away from saying yes too being worn to the prom! Not that I really think they would, but like I've said before when I try to guess what's going to happen I am almost always wrong! Do you find this valuable? |

Amazing episode last night! Glad to see a lighthearted episode like they had in the first season. Fun with some supernatural inserted. Loved the way the guys played off of their 'dopplegangers'! I just wonder what happened to the Hooters waitress that played the ghost of Miss Gore.

Great episode. One of the funniest, i think. So many great lines, in so little time. Did not see the two main larpers as being gay. I guess my gay-dar is broken. Loved the really awkward parts. There are too few for what situations they find themselves in, in my opinion. Can't wait for next week. It's going to be AWESOME!!

It was a *parody* of conventions, is how I saw it, and we have to remember ...... This was a convention for a set of BOOKS. These were the kind of guys who collect comic books and trading cards and such, so of course the demographic would not be the same as for a TV show. I've been to SPN cons, and yes, there are far more women than men, but if we went to a book/comics convention, maybe we'd see more men. Becky is definitely representative of a "type" in fandom, but I think people are grumbling because this ep didn't depict any other type. The only smart, gutsy woman was the "maid" who was hired for the LARPing and not even a fan of Chuck's books. I was okay with that ... but a lot of ans were not. Anywho ... I thought this episode was funny, I laughed my butt off, and it was GREAT to see Sam and Dean acting as a real team, as Sam-n-Dean, finally. I'm okay with the parodies and fun-poking, and I thought the ending was very sweet. However, I DO think the pacing was way off. Of the last 5 episodes, 3 have been "funny," and I think that's too much, too close together. It would have gone down better with fans, I think, if it had been used as a break between heavier, dramatic stuff. So, I thought it was funny as a stand-alone, but too much funny when shown up against Changing Channels and Paris Hilton, too. I'm ready to get back to the storyline, and to the more intense drama. Cheers ~ Erin Do you find this valuable? |

" What?! ;D Dean/Jo kissing??? That is strange... I know that I have already posted it somewhere here, in the forum, but I don't remember where, so I will post it again. In Supernatural: The Official Companion Season 2 Eric Kripke revealed a few details about Jo: The character, initially called Alex, was originally conceived as a love interest for Dean, but Jo came off more like a little-sister character. "In hindsight, Dean wouldn't be attracted to that character...(...) He'd be attracted to someone who walked in the door, slaughtered everybody and walked out, and then he would say, "Who's that?" So... why should they (the writers) change their minds? I don't think so... Like Dragonladylewis said - there wasn't much of the chemistry there... I am not a big fan of Dean/Jo relationship (but I admit I would like to see Winchesters in love and I like Jo as a young hunter...) and I have some bad feelings about this kiss... I think MAYBE Jo will die in next episode... :( It would make sense - a good-bye kiss. Or a begin of romantic relationship and right after that - a sudden death. Or maybe Kripke only plays with us - AGAIN ;) Maybe this kiss is something else... it may be a dream (of Jo?)... Do you find this valuable? |
