Holy crap, why can't Dean see that if he says yes, Sam will feel hopeless without his bro and abandoned THEN go to the only one who "wants" him Lucifer!? its a tragedy waiting to happen--or be averted if our boys(rather, boy) get smart and soon I loved the episode, absolutely one of the best. Drunk Castiel was also really amusing, and the heart to heart that Sam tried to have before Dean runs away was cute, definitely Dean should have melted right there if his heart wasn't so full of.....w/e he's got going on there. Oh lordy, i just hope that Castiel will go ape-sh*t on Dean's ass and whip him back to badass with Sam as the weapon! I mean come one, Castiel's bound to take Dean on a guilt trip sooner or later. "I went against Heaven for you! I gave up Heaven for you! I still had faith in you, and now you're going to agree to be Zachariah's betch?" For Serious?? Not to mention that Castiel seems like Dean's second little brother-asking him for advice on dealing with crap fathers..... two cuties brothers on his ass should make him see..... Looks like, in the preview, that Sammy and Cas aren't taking Dean's madness lying down, nor that Zach will make it all that easy. Thank goodness, I guess. Apr 8 2010, 10:26 PM EDT Oh, and the "***** of Babylon" scene with Castiel was very funnny, an aloof Castiel was heartbreaking, but a guilty pleasure too. I just wish they would've expanded more on exactly how Castiel manages to scrape these relics up...with disconnection to heaven and wasted on his list... and ...boo hoo on not seeing Dean's amulet at all. I can't believe Dean is considering saying yes. Zachariah must be rolling over in his...wings?...bed?....mind? Either way he's not going to let it be so easy. He is Zachariah after all. I really, really hate having to wait till next week for the next episode. I'm becoming more of an addict. Seriously, I want a daily fix, and not just of reruns. Poor Daniel has died enough times to be fair haha, I remember thinking that if he ended up dying in this episode too, I was seriously gonna throw a tantrum. Nobody kills Daniel Jackson!! But really, I was actually surprised when the role he had was considerably small for his caliber, but still- every time he came onscreen, I was just waiting for him to push up his(nonexistent) classes and whip out book while sarcasm dripped from his every complaint. HAHA did everyone hear his voicemail machine? "Why do you want me to say my name?" then the sound of random buttons being pressed xD I love Castiel, and him drunk! hehe I thought that was cute. but poor Castiel! just like Dean now.... with his dad and all... I feel for him, ya know? and Sam. Poor poor Sam! hes trying to help a tailspining Dean, but Dean is fed up and he wants to say yes to Michael! Castiel fell for him, so he WOULDNT say yes to Michael. Everybody in Dean's life is trying to help him figure out that destiny can be changed, and he dosent have to give into the angels will! The ending and Dean hinting at saying "yes" to Michael was a shock, and I always though the love of Deans life was the black woman from the truck episode, but I guess the kid won him over. And the preview for next week.... mannnnn, It looked like they put Dean in Bobby's demon proof room. Like damn both brothers have been in there now! SPN FTW ALWAYS! I was 100% behind the show, loved every minute of it and then the writers crushed me with their stupid ending. Gumby Girl? Seriously? the more I think about it the madder I get. One bendy weekend ages ago, then a job where his initial plan was to hitch up for another weekend with her, and a dream. Suddenly she's the love of his life and he's going to say yes to Michael to save her and a kid he's see for two (?) days. What have you writers done to the show? That's completely stupid and wrong, very wrong. I have to stop this post before it gets into the realm of %^&&^%%&* if ya know what I mean. I've seen the clips for next week and I'm hoping... The fighting scenes were great, the whole concept of the episode was amazing, and I knew BTW that Dean was going to kill the *****, it was kinda obvious ;) I liked the pastor alot, great actor Michael Shanks, right? And Cas.....oh poor angel. Not suprised he got drunk after what he heard. Hmm...so he had to drink an entire licour store.....lol. But he was awesome in this episode. And the ending was a massive suprise! But at the same time I think it was understandable- for all we know Dean's dream is to have a normal life with a kid, wife, house and everything. After he met Lisa again he was having dreams about her, so he did have feelings for her. I loved the ending, I don't get it why people didn't like it. Dean can have a girlfriend, and be in love with someone even though he saw her only once or twice. Smart move, writers, hope we get to see more of Lisa. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, I have to agree that it seems unlikely, doesn't it? All I can guess about the reasoning behind it is that Dean really liked many things about Lisa, and he did dream about her and probably build her up in his mind in some idealized way -- so easy to do when you don't actually have to spend time with someone, ha ha! (On the other hand, with Cassie, it seemed they fought a lot, even though the make-up nookie was great, lol!) In the next epi, I just hope that when Dean goes to make his "demands," they contain a bit more substance -- like mentioning family, Bobby, Jo and Ellen, and all the other people who have sacrificed themselves for Dean and Sam. Glasses!--its the only way to go. I guess they were just trying to dumb him down when they made the switch with O'neill and Cameron...trying to get him to shine.. which didn't work, by the way.
