LOVED IT!
They really pushed Sam/Dean/Castiel interaction(hot or not) to the top! It was really refreshing after the looong period of avoidance and silence. Castiel going ape-sh*t on Dean's ass was SOO awesome, and i think it gave a whole new facet to their somewhat "standstill" relationship.
This seriously is THE 100th episode, absolute WIN(chester). Seeing Dean get his kickass back, and hitting the road to an awesome new partnership was soo relieving, believe me. But Zach dead made it oh so worth it.

"Cas, the last time someone gave me that look....I got laid."
There are no words for it. :D
I'm also loving the whole reminder of how codependent Sam and Dean are: I wouldn't have it any other way!

The scene where Dean iced Zach was awesome. Major points for taking him out. I loved when Dean threw that in as a condition for saying yes. Do you find this valuable?

Oh, and also noting that its really fortunate we didn't have too much time to get attached to Adam. His whole resistance to Dean and Sam made it a whole lot easier to not care (as much) when he gets whisked away.

But of course he'll be returning, most likely totally converted by Michael. But hopefully he'll remember that Dean came for him!

Oh yes! I was saying to my mom. "Man I would make Mike kill Zach before I said yes!"

Such a great epi. SPN never disappoints. So so glad the boys are back on the same page:screw destiny, we'll make our own!

WOW, great episode! And Zachariah is GONE! Who will do the dirty work now??? (I mean, I love Kurt Fuller and the terrific bad guy portrayal he's done, but Zach really was a douche...)

Some of the lines tonight were priceless!

Best part? Dean's back!!!!

WOW what an AMAZING episode!!!

I loved every second of it!

I'll start with saying how awesome Castiel was this episode! Kick-@ss all the way, killing all those angels, and banishing them from himself...I hope he's alright though. He says he lost faith in Dean, but I hope he'll see that Dean is back fighting :)

And Adam- I like him! Sucks that he couldn't stick around, but it's undestandable, that would sort of mess with the story. Did anybody think he was a version of younger Dean? I liked his character, very...Winchester, you might say :D

And finally the brother moments! Sam believing in Dean, letting him out of that panic room and having faith in him....wonderful! And Dean returning the favour....not only killing Zac ( which was AWESOME!) but admiting too that he'll treat Sam like an adult, and apologizing, to top it off......! Looks like our brothers are on their way to reconcile.

THIS EPISODE IS IN MY TOP TEN!

So now we have a contradiction of what Uriel said. A non angel can kill an angel.
I think those angel killing swords will be the key to defeating lucifer.
Props to Cas for sigilling himself in the chest. where do you go when you get sigil'ed. Since the sigil is on him does he keep moving farther and farther away from himself ad infinitum?

SuperZu, I don't think Michael needs someone to do the dirty work anymore. Michael can do it himself because he is definitely on Earth in Adam.

Go Dean!! Haha- I love that he got his "spark" back. I was heart-broken when he told Sam that he didn't have faith in him- I feel like that has been building in him for the last 2 seasons though (and had to be said). I'm soooo happy that in turn Sam's faith in him seemed to heal their relationship though! Great Episode!

Hopefully at some point in the near future we'll see that Sam saved Dean's amulet and gives it back to him :o) I also want to see the return of Adam too!! I love how they made him different from the ghoul that was impersonating him- the writers totally made him a Winchester in this episode.

On a side note- I totally have to stop watching teaser scenes for future episodes on youtube! There were one too many scenes available ahead of time for this episode, and it made it a little less exciting than it should have been (totally my fault for watching, but i can't help it!)

Well, maybe ... but there is that question of what exactly happened to Adam (poor Adam -- never gets much rest, lol!). Maybe he was vaporized, maybe sent back to heaven, or maybe -- as you say -- is a temporary vessel for Michael. We'll see, I guess!

On another note, next week looks like a good comic relief episode again! And we get to see more of those pagan gods everyone's been wondering about!

Oh. to add to my last point- I'm from NJ. but really nothing like the stereotypes. Having said that, when Dean stated "screw destiny right in the face. I say we take the fight to them and do it our way"- he totally earned a true, full-blown, fist pump from me, haha. Do you find this valuable?

Finally! The Angst has been dealt with! Dean's faith crisis is over! THANK YOU WRITERS! THANK YOU! I was getting so sick of Dean drifting away.

Thsi episode had a lot of great lows at the beginning, the whole thing with Bobby was intense, and then when Dean told Sam he didn't trust him! Poor poor Sammy!

But I am so glad that the show is finally having positive character relations and that everyone knows where they stand. The ending of that episode was beautiful. The boys haven't been united like that since seasons three. It's about time Dean stopped moping and got his rear in gear.

Oh Emm Gee !!!!

Definately exceeded my expectations.

Was being clinical at the start and wondered how Cas could pull Adam out when he had been cremated, and then all this other stuff happened and I really didn't care.

May I give a HUGE shout out to CAS !!!!!!!!!!!!! Did he step up or what ???

And I am so glad that Zac got what was coming to him !!!!

I am still in the wow factor at the moment. Will over analyse some more tomorrow.

Quick Fact: The episode where Dean meets Zac (Season 4 it's a terrible life) he says "Angel or not I will stab you in the face." Thank you writers for sticking to your guns. Do you find this valuable?

This was an awesome, amazing, totally ground breaking episode! It totally took the mythology of the show and ramped it into high gear! Not only that, but it finally dealt with the elephant in the room, namely, Sam and Dean's strained relationship! I totally loved everyone talking some sense into Dean and about cried when Dean laid all that terrible talk on Sam, but I think it had to be done, because letting it out was the only way Dean could heal...not to mention Sam's amazing composer and faith in his brother. He knew Dean wouldn't let him down and he trusted him to make the right call, and Dean did. I love that he ganked Zach! And it's on now! Micheal has to be in Adam, that's the only thing that makes sense, so Micheal and Lucifer are both now on Earth...time to see what the Winchesters can do about that!!! I can't wait for more! Not necessarily. Adam would have still had to say yes and after the bs Zac put him through do you really think he would? Even if he did it would probably be a lot like Lucifer's current vessel, only a temp solution at best and one that isn't mazed out in the power department.
