Kali and Baldur
Apr 23 2010, 6:06 PM EDT
Kali was a very interesting character. She made good points about the angels being selfish, I liked her. But I do wonder what the hell happen to her? She was saved by Gab and the boys and then that was it. Baldur was very graceful to me he did not seem evil at all. I would have liked to have seen more of Baldur, to bad he got killed. The writers are really keeping this interesting. Good Job !

I agree. They seemed to be the only two of the old gods who understood what was really at stake.

In mythology Baldur is the God of light and happiness and love. He is suppose to be graceful and intelligent.

Ironically, Baldur's death is supposed to signal the beginning of Ragnarok. I think Lucifer just started the Norse apocalypse.

Im still confused on one thing.Do the Gods get thier powers from worshippers?? (kind of an American Gods thing???) if thats the case I dont think Mercury (Hermes) would be be there. Baron Zemedi was not a god, he was a voodoo priest and didnt fit with the other deitys. every pole ive seen regarding the size of relegions doesnt quite fit. Christians are #1, follwed closely by Islam, Hinduism, and all others, though i find it VERY hard to believe that theres only 14 million Jews in the world, so i dont give these much credit. ANYWAYS, i was just thinking if thats the case, why wouldnt Kali be able to kick Lucifers ass? there are billions of hindus, and Kali herself even to this day has sects and cults devoted to her. the only place you see "Lucifer" worshippers is on TV, and dorky kids in high school. just a thought. Odin, being the "All Father" of Norseman, shouldnt have gone out like that. If the Angels get thier special blades, how come Odin Didnt get Gungnir - his spear of heaven? I admit im rooting for the Nordic Gods on this one, being of Norwegian descent. Do you find this valuable? |
