"Something just struck me a little late but what else is new. In "The Devil You Know" the sigil Crowley used to "lock" Brady in his body was really similar to a pitchfork. There are numerous pagan sigils that look like that too though. Also he said it was just to lock Brady in his body but it was also on every wall of the "house" he was, umm, squatting in."
True! And according to the promo pics for Swan Song, Lucifer has it drawn on the window he's standing next to.. Hmm. Maybe it doesn't work on angels, which, technically, Luci is, or he can override it. Or maybe it means something else entirely there... Argh! So many questions..!

"Actually what opened in the floor was a portal. My theory is Hell is in another dimension. It's not actually in/on Earth. Same with the Devils gate, Portal also. It's also possible Lucifer was kept in just a small section of it, that's what they referred to as his cage. Not Hell entirely. He may not have had full run of the place.
Just my thoughts."
actually I agree hell is probably another dimension like heaven was. I was jsut allowing for other possiblities.
I also think he'd be confined to a small portions of it. If it has circles like Dante says or different depth he'd be in a cage in the deepest part or the innermost circle. He must still be able to affect things outside the cage though because he did create the Demons and manages to send them to earth and give at least a few of them specific missions.
I think they'll either have to go back to where Lillith died and the cage opened or to Detroit where Lucifer said Samwould say yes. A Hellmouth in Detroit isn't so unbeleivable is it?

I have to say, that this is one of the craziest episodes in the whole season! I amost died when bobby asked crowly why he took a picture, and he replied "why did you have to use toung?". I hate to say it, but I'm starting to like Crowly! Do you find this valuable?

Here's a thought, if the Hell is in a dimension, could the rings be used as a handle that when they are together like Dean was doing at the end of the show and they are drawn together like that in the place where the gate to Hell would open up, then it could be used as the doorway or a key that is turned to open and then to close.

I hope they have a way of getting Sam out and leaving Lucifer in there......;(

Just a thought

I'm I only one that sees Cas newfound mortality as a possible loophole? I mean, wouldn't that make him a candidate to become a vessel? I've actually been pondering it all the way back to The End. Do you find this valuable?

No double occupancy. Jimmy is already crowded enough.

I guess if Jimmy's soul is in heaven that's ok. still a little sad. Cas certainly isn't going to heaven when he dies as long as Michael is in charge.
I must admit having Zachariah not around has really simplified things.

But they just said that it was a vessel but that Cas didn't have any power so he was mostly human. So, even though Cas isn't an angel anymore it sounded like it was still two beings occupying one body. At least, that was what I got out of the comment from this episode.

"Oh ho ho....Sound vaguely familiar to Michael and a choice???? (idk)
Anyways, something is going to go wrong with their scheme. Something always goes wrong, but this time something *has* to go wrong. I mean, what would better set up the next season than Dean staring at Sam- unsure of whose really there, then BOOM
"Catch ya later in six months!!!" D:
If it were a happy ending, well, I don't see how that would be very suspenseful for next season. We wouldn't HAVE to watch it, y'know?"
The writers have promised that this is the last season of the heaven hell mumbo jumbo, so even if something does go wrong they will have it fixed by episode 1 in season 6 because they will have other things to be doing.

Have the writers promised the end of heaven/hell stories or just the apocalypse story line? I have a feeling they're not done with heaven/hell yet.

"That little scene where Castiel was sad and with Bobby, and he threw the sack of guns at him--that little whimper out of Castiel totally BROKE me. And the whole head in between Sam and Dean in the car? Is it just me or is Castiel the show's puppy now? (the look he gave Pestilence while on the floor was also full on puppy power)
Now about THE PREVIEW. Oh lordy, is it just me, or is Dean always at Sam's mercy? This finale is going to kill me,"
YEAH that little whimper was so sad but cute at the same time. XD
Cas has always been the cute puppy in the show.
Now that he is human i hope they don't kill him.
But the episode was great.Death was so creepy. And the rip God part killed me. :O
But Sam's plan is so stupid.I just know that something will go wrong.
Crowely was great in this episode so funny and i'm glad that he is helping the boys.
Sam has to drink demon blood again.Damn!

O My God...that has got to be one of the best episodes of the season! Death is possibly my new favourite character (defineitely top 3) and Bobby finally got his legs back! To bad about Castiel though...

How funny was it but how Castiel told dean it was okay he wasn't the shrivelled, broken husk of a man he'd thought he was? That cracked me up. But what did you think about death saving an entire 3million people because he liked the pizza? That's practically saying I like what you're wearing so I'm not going to shoot you. Man, he's awesome!

Basically, they said they were done with the apocalypse at the end of this season. I think it would a little hard totally stop dealing with heaven and hell, now that the boys know both exists, lol!

It was never Death's idea to kill Chicago. Lucifer ordered him to do it. After he gave the ring to Dean he wasn't able to do it. i think without the ring he's like a regular reaper able to kill one person at a time. Maybe he can still do something with the scythe. The pizza thing was just an off the cuff remark.

About the heaven and hell thing: If the apocalypse is avoided demons and angels will still be around. The Winchesters will be valid and mortal targets again because they won't be needed as vessels. Demons will still be demons. Angels will be pissed (especially Raph stuck in his cring of fire) that they didn't get their war and paradise afterwards. They'll want to take it out on the Winchesters. How's that for raising the stakes?

I totally agree- I think we'll see a lot more of the angels next season- they'll be after the boys! I wonder if it will turn into a "civil war" type theme for heaven. With the angels like Zachariah (even though he's gone) one one side and the angels like Cass on the other side. There must be a reason why god left heaven, I'm hoping that will play out in next season's storyline.
