80. RE: What did you think of "Swan Song"?

"At the door Deans wearing his green button down with the black t-shirt. He's wearing the same thing at the dinner table. Lisa answered the door wearing a white button down sweater over a pinkish shirt which is the same as what she's wearing in the kitchen. I vote we were seeing the same night.I hope it is the same night! Lisa's outfit got me confused because it looked a bit different (I thought she was wearing a 3/4 sleeve button down shirt in the first shot- but now I think I may be wrong). haha, characters on this show always wear similar outfits, so I can never tell. If it is the same night, that makes me feel better about the ending, knowing that Sam (or at least someone/thing possessing Sam) didn't end up in hell for decades. Do you find this valuable? |

Either way I think he may just walk away, letting Dean live the 'apple pie' life. Do you find this valuable? |

I think we're seeing the same night, or at least, not more than a few days later. Granted Dean only has about 3 changes of clothes to begin with, but he still has that shell shocked look on his face.JesAL16 brings up a good point. Exactly how long WAS Sam in hell? From the time Luficer fell in the hole to the time we see Sam I'm estimating at least a couple of days would have had to pass. Dean has to drive from Lawrence, to Sioux Falls, probably stops for a beer with Bobby, then he has to drive to Cicero Indiana. A month on earth is a decade in Hell, so three days is about a year in hell. I'm going to guess that assuming that was Sam's first moment out of the pit, he spent at least 6 months in hell. Anyone come up with a different figure? Do you find this valuable? |

"When you walk out of Hell and make lights go out by standing under them, I don't think driving places is something you bother yourself with."I mean DEAN had to drive all those places. Sam obvious zapped right to Dean's location, but I was using the amount of driving Dean would have had to do in order to figure out a possible time line. Do you find this valuable? |

everyone here..... has forgotten about one possible fact, instead of whats his face being god..... where would jesus be in all this. i know he's not suppossed to be part of the apacolypes but it's very possible that someone, (probably the novel guy who's name i forgot) could be jesus, and god could have been inside hell secretly aswell. this would explain why god didnt seem to help much in this season untill the last episode, after dean opens a portal to hell with the rings. if this is the case now god needs a vessel to be on earth and guess who seems to have gotten out, Sam. if Sam is god and novel guy is jesus, he would not need to be on earth anymore cuz god is out. this is obviously far fetched and still doesn't explain the devil guy kerley (im bad with names) but this could be a possible plot twist, and with god being able to go back to heaven Sam has alot of power (explaining the light) and he might have been about to ring the doorbell and explain to dean what had happened. With season 6 being announced to be like season one, this could make very much sense but might take a couple episodes to explain.

is it weird that the part where chuck is explaining the story of the impala.... it reminded me of the scene in half baked where brian's talking about killer the dog? lol.

I loved the ending. I would have been content if that had been the Series Finale truth be told. I don't know what's up with Sam but I can survive not knowing. I love that CHUCK out of all people was God. That was a neat twist. It was as happy as an ending as that show would ever get, though at the beginning I thought the Impala was going to bite it. Glad the Metallicar survived. Dean got a happy ending. Sam is not in the Pit. Bobby is alive and Cas is not only unexploded but can also introduce himself as "An Angel of the Lord." again. Alls well that ends okay.Same questions as everyone else. Where is it going to go now? Is Dean even going to be in next season? I think Jensen signed the contract but who knows? I KNOW Jared did. As did Misha. So whats going down? I'm betting its going to be Cas knocking on doors going "Guys, big guy has a job for you." Maybe the anarchy in heaven is going to spill down to Earth. Either way I have a good feeling. Do you find this valuable? |

I'd bet money on it because Dean's hair was all brushed and styled in the last scene instead of his usual spikes. Do you find this valuable? |

What about Crowley? He and Lucifer draw the same symbol...I want to think that it was Sam who was standing outside Lisa's house...maybe it is the final price for the boys: peace and family and of course some hunting or at least this is what I am expecting for the next season, if anyone has a clue about what will happen in the next season first episode please let me know!!!

The big question until this past year was whether Kripke was going to continue, but he's just going to consult, and Sera Gamble will be the lead now. As far as the other characters, who knows -- have not seen anything about whether Jim Beaver, Misha Collins, or anyone else will be on board. I think it's a good bet that they will show up at least sporadically! Do you find this valuable? |

Here's hoping...... Do you find this valuable? |

I was watching Mystery Spot and Sam says "Okay, look, I'm just saying, there are spots in the world where holes open up and swallow people. The Bermuda Triangle, uh, the Oregon Vortex" Kind of interesting that He winds up in a hole that was opened up with the rings.....
