Castiel's army in Heaven
Apr 23 2011, 11:29 AM EDT | Post edited: Apr 23 2011, 11:29 AM EDT
What does sinking the Titanic have anything to do with helping Cas beat Rafael in heaven? Also... what is Cas REALLY doing up there? I feel like something fishy is going on and I have NO ideas! Can someone help me out? Or does anyone have any predictions on what will happen?

Btw, I'm not too thrilled with this season (too many new characters, then they die off or leave and then there are TOO many plot lines and none of them are being solved!!!) Buuuuuutttt I can say I like the brother dynamic A LOT more this season (since Sam got his soul back). I feel like they are getting along much better compared to previous seasons and this makes me really happy :o)

By sinking the Titanic, Castiel knew Fate would claim all of the people as her own and kill them since they were never supposed to be born. Once they died Cas would have new souls to build his army to fight Rafael. I think Cas has pretty much given up looking for God, he seems more like he's loosing his 'humanity' and just becoming what everybody expected the new leader of heaven to be I guess :/ I miss the old Cas personally.

I like the season as much as I loved the others, but I guess you are right about the bringing characters only to kill them off or whatever. I think the plot-lines all kind of merge into one in the end though. It's like the first plotline EVER was the first episode of Supernatural when Mary died and Sam got the demon blood which led up to where we are now haha.

Me neither. I miss him as the more needy Cas, now he's forced to change and I don't like it at all.

First I do like the new season. It's different but I don't like it as much as the past two. That being said - I've loved the show since the first season but it wasn't until they brought Cass on that I got totally addicted. I mean watching every episode over and over til I have them memorized!! So if they gank Cass or turn him to the dark side I'm going to be PISSED!! Won't watch again much less buy season 6 set. Yep I'm worried too : ( 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree with you on everything you just said! Especially the bit about Gabriel. He was one of the best minor-ish characters of the show! lol.

Thanks. : ) but I forgot one of the most important ones - CHUCK!! Where the heck is Chuck??

Maybe Cass' actions have something to do with God? I mean they totally drifted from that. What about God? I thought John was God? Mary keeps coming back in episodes but he doesn't. Hummm AND Adam. Hello?? Ok I'm thinking too much lol

Good ideas for characters to bring back! I too would love to see Chuck, Gabriel, and Ash ... and I loved ANDY!

So, yeah, this season is really different. Everything in the five-year arc was leading up to the apocalypse, and once that was averted -- heck, what do you do? I wasn't sure about season 6 at first because it seemed strange, but that turned out to be for a logical reason -- Sammy wasn't really Sammy! And now, seeing where the writers were headed, I am LOVING the creative new plot they came up with. Genius!

I'm not happy about the turn in Cas either, but here's the thing -- as in any great literature or good film, a character isn't fully developed if he stays flat and static. We're seeing a completely different side of Cas. I think that's awesome (and I'm sure it's fun for Misha to play). I'll be REALLY SAD if Cas turns bad or is killed, as much as the next fan, but if that has to happen (remember, actors have lives, and what if Misha couldn't stay for S7, well, then this would be an exceptionally creative way to "end" Cas on the show), and it's no reason to blame or punish the rest of the show that remains. Believe me, I hope that doesn't happen. But even if things go back to "normal" with Cas somehow, we'll just appreciate the "good" him all the more after this!

My two cents!

Couldn't agree more!!! As wonderful as Cas is the way Misha plays him, it's so much more entertaining when a character goes through some angst and thus grows. Besides, he's been hanging around the brothers for so long he was bound to start picking up on more "human" (notice the air quotes) phrases and tendancies. But, just like Sam did on his demon blood path, I'm sure Cas will find his way back to his true / good self! It'll just be fun to watch the process!

And yes, I am glad that Crowley's back! He gets the best zingers on this show. And I miss Ash and Gabriel dearly! As well as Chuck! If only they could return........

i think cass is an awesome character but killing him off now would be unreasonable and stupid and i think this whole war in heaven business wont reallly scar him i personally think its an opening to bring back lucifer from hell or introduce GOD as a character Do you find this valuable?

I was cracking up for some reason when Crowley was screaming about how Azazel and Lilith and Lucifer all underestimated the Winchesters, lmfao. I was like, wow! Crowley's actually smart! xD

I have to agree with you about Adam that sucks he is still trapped in the cage with the 2 angry angels so my thought is if Sam came back this messed up...poor Adam. I don't think your thinking to much cause it crossed my mind as well. lol

I'm really NOT happy with the way they are changing Cas I really do hope that they bring him back to his good/true self he is an awesome character. I didn't actually find it to much fun to watch him and Dean fall apart maybe I'm too hooked into the show but it broke my heart to watch but I suppose that was the point.

I will say that I like seeing Crowley he's fun to watch and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Gabriel come back that would be great.

I know this thread is about Castiel's army, but since Adam was mentioned - - -

I'm tired of Dean and Sam never mentioning him!!! Granted, if Dean and Sam did talk about Adam, the writers would have to pursue some sort of story arc to bring him back somehow. And yes, he would be WAY more messed up than Sam, so he'd probably just have pudding for brains. Plus, that would breach the whole subject of Lucifer and Michael being able to get out of the cage, too, and that would drastically change the whole current "heaven civil war / Castiel thinks he's God" story arc.

Too much thinking here, too! I'm just sick of Adam always getting the shaft when it comes to story lines. I mean, when we first met him, the poor guy was already dead!!! Then when he actually did get to come back alive (thanks for that, Zachariah!) we got to see how much of a Winchester he really is! Go ahead and kill him off for good if you have to, writers, but at least bring him back first so that he can die with dignity!
