I'd like some advice..

I'm doing a media studies project for school. I planning on filming the beginning of the midnight game. What I need advice on is, how can I film this without actually summoning the midnight man or making him angry. I understand this game is mainly mind tricks but the last thing I want to do is preform this ritual without realising i've opened myself up to bringing demons into my house/life. I want to know if we pray or anything like that before hand if we can protect ourselves? Do you find this valuable?
