I have to admit... I didn't start watching until October 2009. Back in 2005, I did take a glimpse while channel surfing and said oh it's Dean from "Gilmore Girls" and oh that other guy is cute too. However I didn't watch. I was way too busy with my new baby and running after a two year old. My boyfriend wanted to watch it except we just got busy...you know life and all...When I was in middle school and high school I really liked these two actors Christopher Petteit ("Young Riders" & "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead") and Omri Katz ("Eerie, Indianna & "Hocus Pocus") amoung other movie stars. Soooo...In 2009, I was searching the internet to see what had happened to these young stars because I wanted to see if they were in any more movies or shows. Well sadly Chris Petteit is no longer with us. And I can't find Omri Katz in anything recent. I went oh well what the hell, Supernatural looks good andJensen Ackles resembles Chris Petteit (I think anyway, he was born in Dallas, Texas and was 6'1" also not to be morbid or anythingborn 02.12.76) and Jared Padalecki resembles Omri Katz (I think anyway), I went out and bought season I. After that I was hooked. Now I love the show for what it is. I can't get enough. Even though my initial reason for starting to watch the show wasn't genuine, I believe this is one of the best shows ever. I was a real big fan of "X-files", "Angel", "Buffy", and "Roswell" in the past and this show definitely is also one of the greats...Another plus is I lost my boyfriend(the boys' dad) in 2007 and the show plays his favorite music. I probably am one of your older Supernatural followers, but I hope that is okay.

Another one hooked! The same happened to me when my roommate a few years ago brought home the first couple seasons of the show. I was like, "Meh, looks like a fake version of a ghost hunting show." But then I started watching ... and 6 seasons and one convention later, I am hooked too -- completely! Welcome!!!

The show helps me feel closer to my lat boyfriend because of the music and because I know he would have loved the show. Heck, he probably watched it without me. Boohoo just jokin.
