After you watch the episode, sound off here!

FYI, I'll be watching in Nashville from the Supernatural convention ... may or may not get to update the episode guide this weekend. I'll try to check in of I can! But follow @SPNFanWiki on Twitter for Nashcon 2012 updates!

Thought it was a solid episode. My only rebuttal is the show will have to much corn (as in corny) if Bobby comes back as a ghost to help the guys. I will be cool if they keep him in the shadows (just helping out by moving objects and the such). All I am saying is it alerted the corn factor for me. Bobby is dead, don't break my heart by making him some odd ball ghost. He was way to bad A$ for that. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

My initial thoughts are that it was a very good episode. I think Bobby remaining as a ghost could work very well, it's just the sort of thing he would do, to protect 'His Boys', especially with the leviathans around (maybe Dick Roman is Bobby's 'unfinished business' too) but I agree with you, Trilobite, that it needs careful handling.

I was very sad for Dean, though. I thought he might start coping better after getting that pep talk from Frank, but I don't think it's working very well. I suppose it was obvious that Sam would end up killing Emma as Dean - very understandably - was having trouble doing it himself. I loved Sammy's concern for Dean at the end... I wonder if they're setting it up for Dean to sacrifice himself again (most likely for Sam) as he seems to think it's just a matter of time before he dies?
Anyway, I do need to watch this ep again.

Hi there! Reporting from Nashcon... I see not too many people are checking in about the ep anyway, so I do not feel as bad, but i actually MISSED IT! Imagine that. Registration for the con took way long last evening (and we were among the first in line), and then we were starving - the show had started anyway, so we went to eat. :P We're trying to stream it before the first session today but not having much luck. Soooo, I'll likely update everything after I get back home this coming week - sorry!

Can't wait to see it!

Zu,
Hope you're having a good time at Nashcon? - You've got a good reason for missing the new ep and at least you've still got it to look forward to, whereas we unfortunates stuck at home have already seen it so we're looking forward eagerly to the next one lol!
No worries about not updating things either, just enjoy yourself - I'm quite jealous, I'd love to be there too!

I, too, hope that they are very careful if Casper does turn out to be Bobby. Dean absolutely broke my heart; the guy just cant seem to catch a break. I am afraid that it may take Sammy being in mortal danger to stop Dean's downward spiral. He has always said that he was Sammy's protector. Shoe is on the other foot now, once Sam didn't want to hunt..now Dean doesnt; I think Sammy would do whatever Dean wanted to do...so if Dean told him he wanted to quit...Sammy would too.
I mean we wait so long for Dean to start moving forward from Lisa and this is what happens? Sam bringing up Amy was a low blow. Amy was not Sam's daughter! Even if Emma was a monster she was Dean's monster! I think Dean was going to let her kill him and we may find out later on that that was what he intended to do. I want to see his spark back...I want to see the Impala back. Was so glad to hear AC/DC!

I think Casper either has to be Bobby or possibly Ellen, who appears to be still around somewhere, although I lean towards Bobby.
I agree with you about Amy - it was unfair of Sam to compare her with Emma, who hadn't actually killed anyone yet, although I think maybe he was just so worried that Dean was losing it that he couldn't help making the comparison. I hope Dean was indecisive because he was hoping he could still talk her around, not that he would let her kill him, but he's definitely tired of their life: it reminds me a little of Season 2 in 'Croatoan' when he told Sam he was so tired of everything - John had died and he was holding the secret of his dad telling him he might have to kill Sam. I can only think that he'll get his Mojo back now if Sam needs saving - I don' think we've seen the last of Sam's Hell visions and maybe if Sam loses his grip on reality again that will make Dean step up...

1- I don’t understand Why Sam was pissed off at the end? I even expected at least some kind of sympathy. Emma hadn’t killed anyone yet and as far as I remember they always have a kind of hesitation killing this kind of monsters(!) so I think that was natural that dean wanted to let her go.(considering she was someway his girl, after all) and totally agree Sam shouldn’t have brought up Amy…
2- It’s really hard to see dean suffering… now that I take a look at the season 7 so far: first they lost Cas, then they lost bobby, now they can’t do anything with leviathans, and Sam’s hell visions… different and extremely difficult season.

Heya Reza.
Good to see you here!
1. I think Sam was annoyed because he thought Dean was in danger and should have dealt with Emma straight away, like he said Sam should have dealt with his friend Amy - I think he was just upset, although as I said in my last post, I think it was unfair to compare Emma with Amy - I think Sam's more worried that Dean isn't thinking straight and will get himself killed...
2. I agree, it's really hard to see Dean suffering so much, and I hope for something to make him feel better, but at the same time, Season 7 is so compelling....

I haven't been able to chat about the last few episodes cause of guests and traveling I have to go back and watch those but I did get to sit and watch this one and it is most definitely a solid episode!! I really do think our Casper is Bobby. I am looking forward to seeing how they handle that. Sam was like it cant be Bobby cause we want it to be and I thought that was heartbreaking but brutally honest at the same time. One of those how dare we hope kind of situations.
I was completely thrilled about AC/DC I was like "Hell yeah the classic rock is back!! WhooHoo!!" that is one of the things I enjoy about this show. Here's hoping it is back for good.
I agree with the comment that it is hard to watch Dean suffering and Sam nailed it when he said that Dean was wavering after losing Cas ( I know I was) but when he lost Bobby that was pretty much the finial nail in the coffin as it were. I'm thinking that Dean is now gonna be hell bent on revenge (and when that man gets pissed things get ugly and bloody...teehee) which is a case of the shoe being on the other foot for Sam cause it was Sam that was all about some payback on Lilith and Dean having to reign him in, and all I can say to that is good luck Sam your gonna need it.
But all in all it was a pretty awesome episode. I'm so looking forward to the next and I'm so done with all these little breaks that they have been taking to dang it I need my SPN fix!! Quit making me wait for new episodes you idjits!!

There is no good reason they are still hiding impala. This car was always with the boys from the beginning and now it's just absent for no good reason.I know why they did it at that time but now I think it's not necessary .... Don't yu think so?or maybe there is another reason I haven't noticed? Do you find this valuable?

The reason that the Levithians had the same car is a moot point now. They came up in the database when the Amazon cop looked them up. Remember the guys still think that they are dead according to the public because they think that those cops and morgue guy made it look that way, but they don't know that the Levithians ate them before they could. So there is no reason to keep the Impala in mothballs. Dean needs his Pala!
Some Clowns next week! Poor Sammy!!

Hey TSD,
Not sure I agree with you here. I think Bobby said in the HTWFAIP ep that they still needed to keep a low profile because of the leviathans, which suggests that they somehow know or suspect that the leviathans know they are still alive (even if the public don't), or they are just being ultra-careful - either way, that means the Impala - very sadly because I miss it so much too - needs to be kept under wraps...

I don't have much to say this week about the episode. I liked it. Great episode. I agree with everybody. Can't wait for next week. I just got done watching it today Tuesday. I spent Friday with my nephew instead of watching the episode.

Okay, it is difficult watching Dean suffer and I also agree that it was unfair for Sam to compare Emma to Amy, although I agree with SPN that he was probably just worried about Dean. That was a run on sentence. Yay for the classic rock too. It's great having the little hints of Bobby in there even if it's not in the flesh... 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Better late than never...I'm here!

Minor points; what kind of bad-ass car was Dean driving??? I definitely can't ID every car, but I couldn't figure that one out. I love how interesting-looking vintage muscle cars are apparently just lying around for the stealing in the Supernatural universe! I too miss the Impala though and it does seem like a moot point to keep it in mothballs now.

Enjoyed the AC/DC a great deal but for God's sake, the artsy cutting back and forth between Dean sleeping with the woman who picked him up and the stranger getting killed by his monster daughter...let me just enjoy watching Dean already! :) I mean that's the first time we've gotten to see him like that in HOW LONG????

I guessed just about everything that happened in this episode before it happened except for Amazons...Amazons? Really? I guess their overwhelming strength was their weapon, but in a world of firearms I found it odd that they had to kill everyone with a knife (I guess it was somewhat ceremonial and therefore they had to use a knife?) and yet they could be killed by a bullet.

Overall I really like the episode though and what I liked most was that we FINALLY got more dialog between Sam and Dean which is and has always been the best part of the show. From Sam teasing Dean about his one night stand to his growing concern for him as they figured out what was happening...it was touching, well-written, and well-acted so great job to all involved.

I'm extremely skeptical about this week's upcoming episode. Unicorns? I hope it will be excellent, but it sounds "unusual"...they often surprise me though. Sam hates clowns. That should be good.

Ugh my puters having "issues"!

Well I just watched the ep and am v. sad :(:(:(:( .I thought for sure some of Deans 'ness' would run off on his daughter and she would leave the Amazons. It was horrible seeing him have what he's always wanted (family) taken away from him, especially by Sam. He had every right to baulk at killing Emma. She was probably going to be the only kid he ever has. Ive been watching season one again to see the 'old' Dean and it is really sad how much he is suffering!
There was no reason for Sam to bring up Amy. She killed 'cause she had to, Emma could of had a chance to change. Dean didn't have enough time with her. I think Sam's time in Hell and being soulless has severely affected him, even though he is doing a good job playing normal.

Totally agree with you JBB. I was just thinking the other day how long its been since we got to see a bit of Dean flesh! It just wasn't enough!!!!!!!!

Loved AC/DC but bring back the Impala and just change the plates! Thats what they usually do!

Lastly I think the 'presence' IS Bobby cause we didn't see him make his decision on whether to follow the Reaper or not. Also he has unfinished business with that Dick. That could be keeping him grounded or maybe there is something of Bobby's lying around? Eww just had a gross thought! Its not possible but what if that something of Bobby's is a part of the flask Dean has. I refuse to elaborate just use your imagination!
