- That was the WORST moment for me since the end of Season 3 - probably even worse!! - And I never ever thought the Season 3 Finale could be topped as a tearjerker!

I agree with you pretty much. Tribes shouldn't even try to emulate Supernatural - that would be a BIG mistake - but I am still unsure of the premise they have used as it might be considered formulaic now - but that's for later; we can judge that for ourselves when it airs.

When I said I would hate for Supernatural to end unsatisfactorily, I don't necessarily want an ending all wrapped up in a bow, just something satisfactory for The Boys - something good to end their time in the Supernatural-verse or at least our view of it; maybe for them to accomplish something they set out to do? Maybe they can have a life outside hunting and Dean could learn to live for himself, not just for Sam. They might even ride off into the sunset; I don't know what I would like really but I'll know if I like it when I see it, if that makes sense...

Season 5 would have been a bitter-sweet ending with Dean on his own and Sam in the Cage with Lucifer and I'm glad it didn't end like that, even though I know a lot of people wanted it to finish then. I hope for something more this time. I don't expect things to be fully resolved - they never are. Even if they re-open Heaven and somehow manage to close the Gates of Hell second time around - which I don't think they will do, it's just an example - there would still be monsters or some other evil to deal with. It wouldn't have to affect Tribes.

On a different track, I thought the endings for DS9, TNG and the premise for Enterprise, if not the execution of it, were good endings and they allow for things to continue, to evolve. The story never really ends, just the players change. I'll be happy if The Boys end up with their relationship strong and with some hope for the future. Whether it will be both of them travelling on together or one dies and the other goes on, or both go off to Heaven, well it depends how they do it.

I think we all do - or we want to - Sam's behaviour is stretching things at the moment though! Lol.

The main thing is we have the chance of a proper ending, if it ends after next season. 'Course it might go on after that but a good ending is essential to a Show like this...
