There was also a Propher Zachariah, ho actually wrote of occurences that reveal the hierarchy and politics of the angels. In Zach 2: 3-5, he writes about how onr angel's boss orders him to visit Zachariah again: "And behold, the angel that talked with me went forth and another angel went out to meet him, and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about."
We next see Zach at the end of The Monster at the End of This Book, sitting in Chuck's living room as Chuck wakes from a nightmare. He again proves he's pulling the strings by telling Chuck there's nothing he can do about what he saw--he can't warn the boys, he can't kill himself ("We'd only bring you back")--all he can do is what he always does: write. Finally, in Lucifer Rising, Zach takes a more active role, revealing himself as above the rank of Castiel by calling the shots. He basically holds Dean in a "green room," as he calls it, until it's time for him to act. But what he's really doing is preventing Dean from joining Sam. At the end of the episode, he finally reveals that Sam was meant all along to finish breaking the seals, and dean is meant for something else...to stop Lucifer later on. In season 5, we will see Zach again...and the boys (especially Dean) are not happy about that. Take a look at the preview, and stay tuned for more about Zachariah.

....Zach was able to send Dean to the future in "The End," yet he couldn't forsee his own death at the hands of Dean a few months later? Interesting.... maybe there's hope for team FREE WILL after all! :)

Zachariah himself said he had 6 wings and 4 faces "One of which is a lion" in "Dark Side of the Moon". This information points towards him being a Cherubim. "The biblical prophet Ezekiel describes the cherubim as a tetrad of living creatures, each having four faces: of a lion, an ox, a griffin vulture, and a man. They are said to have the stature and hands of a man, the feet of a calf, and four wings. Two of the wings extended upward, meeting above and sustaining the throne of God; while the other two stretched downward and covered the creatures themselves." There is an illustration however which shows a cherub as having 6 wings. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/Tetramorph_meteora.jpg I can't find much research on whether any of the Cherubim were ever specifically named.
