|EPISODE 407: IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, SAM WINCHESTER
|Sam: What about you? Find anything on the victim?
Dean: This Luke Wallace -- he was so vanilla that he made vanilla seem spicy.
|Sam: Once he's raised, Samhain can do some raising of his own.
Dean: Raising what, exactly?
Sam: Dark, evil crap and lots of it. They follow him around like a friggin' Pied Piper.
Dean: So we're talking ghosts.
Dean: Those little dudes are scary. Small hands.
|Dean: Yeah, well, if you were a six-hundred-year hag and you could choose any costume to come back in, wouldn't you go for a hot cheerleader? I would. Mmm.|
|Astronaut: Trick or treat.
Dean: This is a motel.
Dean: So, we don’t have any candy.
Sam: No, we have a ton in the, uh…
(Sam looks back and points toward the Impala)
Dean: We did, but it’s gone.
|(Sam meets Castiel for the first time)
Sam: Oh, my God! Er, ah, I didn't mean to... sorry.
|Dean: I mean, come on, you're gonna wipe out a whole town for one little witch. Sounds to me like you're compensating for something|
|Sam: We'll stop this witch before she summons anyone. Your seal won't be broken and no one has to die.
Uriel: We're wasting time with these mud monkeys.
|Dean: Well, are you gonna figure out a way to find this witch, or are you just gonna sit there fingering your bone?|
|Dean: What the hell just happened?
Sam: Halloween lore. People used to wear mask to hide from Samhain, so I gave it a shot.
Dean: You gave it a shot?!
|(a ghost throws Dean against the wall as he is trying to kill zombies)
Dean: Zombie-ghost orgy, huh? Well, that's it. I'm torching everybody.
|(Samhain shoots white light at Sam)
Sam: Yeah, that demon ray-gun stuff? Doesn't work on me.
|Sam: You know, my brother was right about you. You are dicks.
Uriel: The only reason you're still alive, Sam, is because you've been useful. But the moment that ceases to be true, the second you become more trouble than you're worth, one word, one, and I will turn you to dust. (pauses) As for your brother, tell him that maybe he should climb off of that high horse of his. Ask Dean what he remembers from Hell.
|Castiel: Our orders were not to stop the summoning of Samhain. They were to do whatever you told us to do.
Dean: Your orders were to follow my orders?
Castiel: It was a test to see how you would perform under battlefield conditions, you might say.
|Castiel: You misunderstand me, Dean. I’m not like you think. I was praying that you would choose to save the town.
Dean: You were?
|Castiel: Can I tell you something if you promise not to tell another soul?
Castiel: I’m not a… hammer as you say, I have questions, I have doubts. I don’t know what is right and what is wrong anymore, whether you passed or failed here. But in the coming months you will have more decisions to make, I don’t envy the weight that’s on your shoulders, Dean. I truly don’t.
(they share a look, and Dean looks out to the kids again, but when he looks back, Castiel is gone
