FBI Agent : Detective Bill Buckner - In a montage between Sam and Dean's lives, Dean questions a doctor at Taft Memorial Hospital calling himself Detective Bill Buckner. This refers to the MLB first baseman who famously missed an easy ground ball which rolled between his legs. It cost his team the 1986 World Series.
Keith Samuel- Sam uses the name Keith to get a job working at a bar. When he calls in some fellow hunters to investigate some weird happenings in the area, one of then calls him Sam. This confuses his co-worker, Lindsey. To back pedal, the hunter explains "Keith's" middle name is Samuel, which is why he called him Sam.
FBI Agent : Alonzo Mosely and Eddie Moscone - At a local police department, Dean identifies himself and Castiel
as Agents Alonzo Mosely and Eddie Moscone. Mosely and Moscone are characters from the 1998 comedyMidnight Run played by Yaphet Kotto and Joe Pantoliano.

FBI Agent : Bonham and Copeland -Talking to the local sheriff, Dean introduces himself as Agent Bonham and Sam as Agent Copeland. Both of them are famous drummers. John Bonham drummed for Led Zeppelin, and Stewart Copeland drummed for The Police.
Talent Agent- The bartender at the Green Dragon Tavern is a aspiring actress. To try and pick her up, Dean tells her he's an agent from William Morris Endeavor, the largest and longest running talent agency in the world.
Magazine Writer - Sam tells the proprietor of a local wax museum that he and Dean are writers for Travelmagazine, with Dean adding that they're currently writing an article about how "non-sucky wax museums are."

FBI Agent : Page and Plant - Both when Sam and Dean go down to the coroner's office and when they visit Julia Wright, they introduce themselves as FBI Agents Page and Plant. Page and Plant was a band formed in the mid-90's by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant who formally had been members of Led Zeppelin. Sam also introduces himself to Jesse as Robert, further cementing the connection.
Secret Government Agent - To try and get Jesse to Bobby's where he'll be safe, Dean tells him that he and Sam are actually from a secret government agency. The agency's purpose is to find kids like him who have super abilities, and train them into X-men-like superheroes.

CDC Agent - At a hospital, Sam and Dean flash ID badges for the Center for Disease Control to the front desk nurse.

FBI Agent - At a local police station, Sam and Dean pretend to be FBI agents.
Doctor- When the trickster transports Sam and Dean into TV Land, they find themselves as doctors at Seattle Mercy Hospital, the location for the TV show Dr. Sexy, MD. While they are never named, a nurse says that Sam is a cerebral vascular neurosurgeon.
Game Show Contestant- The second place the trickster transports the brothers is a Japanese game show called Nutcracker, where they have to answer the host's questions correctly, or risk being hit in the nuts.
Sitcom Star- The beginning clip and the third stop in TV Land is the comedy showSupernatural, where they're actually characters in a sitcom instead of being real.
Herpexia User- During a commercial break of Supernatural(the sitcom), Sam is put in an ad stating he's using Herpexia, a drug used to treat genital herpes. He and Dean play basketball with some guys in the ad, and Dean also does the drug advisory voice over.
Investigator- After the sitcom, Sam and Dean are transported into a procedural cop show, and act very much like Lieutenant Horatio Caine (David Caruso) from CSI: Miami.
Car : 1967 Impala- The last thing the trickster does is turn Sam into the Impala, as though he were KITT from the 1982 science fiction series Knight Rider.

Some Form of Law Enforcement Agent : Lennon and McCartney - While not the real Sam and Dean, a bunch of fans LARP (Live Action Role Play) as the two at a convention of theSupernaturalbooks. In part of a haunting game, a groups of the LARPers question the "owner" of the hotel (really an actor) about a ghost that haunts the place. They show him a bunch of law enforcement badges: FBI, CSI, as well as a couple cop and sheriff IDs. The "owner" calls the collective Sam and Dean Agents Lennon and McCartney. John Lennon and Paul McCartney were members of The Beatles.
Some Form of Law Enforcement Agent : Jagger and Richards - Later on, another set of LARPers comes up to the same actor. He tells them the same story, only calling the collective agents Jagger and Richards, referring to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.
Live Action Role Player : Rufus and Bobby- To try and find a real ghost that's haunting the hotel, Sam and Dean end up having to tag along with Barnes and Damian, who are LARPing as the two brothers. Since there can't be two Sams and Deans, it's insisted the real Winchesters LARP as Rufus and Bobby instead of themselves.

Mental Patient : Alex and Edward Van Halen- To get into a mental institution, Dean pretends to be committing Sam, where, in both the story they tell and the file the admissions doctor holds, Sam is listed as Edward Van Halen, with Dean as his concerned brother, Alex. (They end up both getting committed.) Alex and Eddie are the two brothers that founded the rock band Van Halen. (The file also says the "Eddie" was referred by Dr. Babar. Babar is the elephant protagonist from a popular series of children's books, something the admissions doctor points out.)

FBI Agent : Dorfman and Neidermeyer - Sam and Dean go to a diner to speak toDigger Wells about a recent suspicious murder. When the local sheriff happens to come over to them, Sam tells her they are agents Dorfman and Neidermeyer. In the 1978 comedyNational Lampoon's Animal House, two of the characters are named Kent Dorfman and Doug Neidermeyer played by Stephen Furst and Mark Metcalf. Also, Bobby gives his name as Agent Tom Willis when the sheriff calls their "supervisor" to verify the Winchester's identities. This could refer to the character Franklin Cover played on The Jeffersons, half of one of the first interracial marriages seen on TV.
