FBI Agent : Tom Willis - Bobby has a phone system where, if a hunter needs help verifying his identification, they can call one of Bobby's lines. From there, he can pretend to be the person's superior. When Singer tells the hunter Garth to call the FBI, he calls Bobby's line. Bobby answers as Tom Willis, the same alias for the FBI he's used before. It could be a reference to Franklin Cover's character from The Jeffersons.
CDC Agent : Frank Castle - The phone for the Center for Disease Control is labeled Frank Castle. Frank Castle is the real name of The Punisher, the vengeance obsessed, anti-hero of the Marvel comics that share his name.
Police Officer : Pete Lovell - Another phone, this one for the police, carries the label for Pete Lovell. This might be a reference to the lead singer for Picture, a Dutch heavy metal band formed in 1979.
Federal Marshall : Bill Sumner - The name on the Federal Marshall phone is Bill Sumner. This might be a reference to William Graham Sumner. He was the first professor to teach sociology, and the man who coined the term ethnocentrism (To judge another culture solely by the values and standards of one's own culture.)
Health Department : Lou - On yet another phone, labeled for the Health Department, is the name Lou. However, the last name is unreadable.
Luther Vandross- When a federal agent comes to Bobby's looking for Rufus, one of the aliases the officer gives for him is Luther Vandross, the famous R&B singer.
Ruben Studdard - The other alias for Rufus that the agent gives is Ruben Studdard. Studdard is also an R&B singer, becoming famous as the winner of the second season of American Idol.

Howard Roark (Sam's calling card listed him as agent H. Roark.) and Gail Wynand are major characters in the Ayn Rand novel The Fountainhead. In 1949, it was made into a film with Gary Cooper as Roark and Raymond Massey as Wynand.

Texas Ranger : Walker- After introducing himself, Dean then introduces Sam as Walker, the Texas ranger. Chuck Norris starred as the title character,Cordell Walker, in Walker, Texas Ranger, an action crime drama (with a side of martial arts) that ran from 1993 to 2001. The series also spawned a made for TV movie (Trail by Fire) which was released in 2007.
