Only 3 episodes left and there are a lot of loose ends. I am very much looking forward to E13; the last one, where RT says it will all be explained because…it needs to be. How and where is Dean communicating with this time period? Will all of these characters have their memories wiped (we know Lata can do it – but can she wipe her own mind too?)? We’ll see.

WOW….uhhhm….well, this certainly didn’t do CRAP to tie up any loose ends!!
I am very sad to say that this was just a lack luster episode of TV. All of the other characters were either acting wooden or plain uninteresting. And Mary pretty much disappeared in this one.
The only character that seemed REAL was Millie. And John had some glimpses of being interesting when he outsmarted the Akrida Cop in the interview by revealing he paid attention and had actually figured out some things on his own.
Other than that….it was a sadly boring episode.
And if they are trying to give us another Sheriff Jody in Betty….it ain’t working!
We also didn’t get any further with the Akrida story arc. And the “Akrida-Cop” character was SUPER annoying to me!!
And the “reveal your darkest secret” story line made NO sense to me and I highly doubt that a story about Lata’s Indian heritage full of awful cast prejudice really resonates with the general American audience?! I mean, YES, it’s tragic and totally wrong, but would the target audience for this show truly GET that? (sorry, I don’t want to sound condescending!!! And please correct me if I’m wrong)
I also felt like Carlos, who was IN it with Lata, had more focus on getting out of that freezing place than actually LISTENING to Lata’s pain and then….what’s the point??? He was supposed to be the anchor and friend in her darkest space….instead I felt the over arching “it’s not your fault” theme was thin and not heart-felt.
TOTAL MISS to me. Sorry. I didn’t feel it at all.
It’s making me very very sad that a team including Jensen and Robbie would think THIS is compelling TV?!

Sadly I have to agree with PigNaPoke. Unfortunately now 2 episodes till the end, I have to realize that not just this episode, but the whole show isn`t really working for me.
My biggest problem is that I don
t feel for the characters. Not sure if it is the acting or the storyline, but I just don
t really care about them.I also feel that there is no golden thread through the story. I get that they said everything will be revealed in episode 13. But until then nothing, no hints, no clues. If they think that once in a while a pic of Dean is enough to make it interesting. I don
t think so. At least not for me. I think that not revealing with what is actually happening till the finale, might even have worked if they would have included the audience into the journey. But just patching patching together random storylines with no backround to the overall arch isn
t working.The Lata story didn
t work for me either. I first thought I might have missed something. The app didn
t let me watch it this time, so I had to watch it on another platform and the audio was pretty bad. So I thought I have missed something. I just didn`t get what was so dark on this secret. Of course it is terrible what happened. But is just that Lata made an unintentional mistake and her parents are cruel assholes. Probably trapped in obsolete traditions. How is this on Lata ?Of course I hope that the finale will bring a big bang, but I`m not sure that that will be enough to keep my interest for the show. If it gets another season.
