| It's thirty hours before Dean's deal with the crossroad demon is up. Dean (Jensen Ackles), Sam (Jared Padalecki), and Bobby (Jim Beaver) search for Lilith, who holds Dean's contract. They discover her location, and Sam summons Ruby for help in spite of Dean's protests. Ruby warns them they aren't ready to fight Lilith, but they steal her knife and depart for New Harmony, Indiana. In a battle to the death, Sam, Dean, and Bobby take on Lilith and all her demons in a last ditch effort to save Dean's life. |

- Sam tells Dean he should have been rocking "Eye of the Tiger" after he gave a psych-up speech. "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor was written for the movie Rocky III and has since become a standard song for movies and TV shows to play during psych-up speeches.
- The brothers are stopped by a demon disguised as a police officer. Dean realizes it is a demon and kills him. The number of the car "54" is clearly shown. This is a reference to the old TV show "Car 54, Where Are You?"(1961).

Sam tries to move on without his brother and becomes hardened and more reckless in the way he hunts. Bobby and his psychic friend Pamela try to contact the other side to find out more about Dean's ultimate fate.
